Okay, maybe that last message was a little bit premature. We are seeing a lot of site errors in the random event system and in a large number of games. These are related but not easily fixed. We may well have to turn off the random events altogether till it's fixed.

And it's done! The brave parlay party has struck a deal with the cruel Pirate Captain ... the return of all the pillaged Grophs and items in return for a new Pirate port to be built on the Jungle shore.

The mainland is ablaze, the pirates are pillaging everything, and Captain Qat is out of control. Something needs to be done! Luckily it looks like we have our brave party of volunteers chosen to go and Parlay with the Captain! The winners have been announced and the crowds demand immediate action!

The winners are Blinky, Love Mist, Queen of Clubs, Twinkle and Qatsson. Remember that the winners also get cash prizes (thanks to Elmo) to spend on Paid accounts, cash store items and upgrades! Congratulations all!

Four new areas have been added to Grophland today, just little places you might enjoy hunting for and finding. One of them is not secret, but the other three are, so don't expect them to be in obvious places.

Grophmail improvements (posted 14:31)

The Grophmail screen has had a bit of a face lift, you should be able to see the new format on all your mail (force a refresh if you don't). Also you can now switch mailboxes directly from the view Grophmail screen. Also you can now send a message when you send an item to another player, so if you want to give a gift you can now say why.

Seems Captain Qat has been going mad, pillaging accounts and stealing their Grophs. Looks like somebody needs to go and talk her into giving them back (or bribe her ... or something).

The Captain has agreed to the parlay, but we need to send the right people. To help us pick Elmo is holding a contest. The winners get to speak with Qat and maybe save the pillaged players. That's not all though ... Elmo has sweetened the deal with over $30 in cash prizes (not to mention the avatars that are likely to go with the winning slots!). Right now, though, we need more people!

Yep that's $30 prizes!

Always trouble, this lady! Seems she has been pillaging the accounts of those that displease her, stealing everything! If I were affected I'd be begging for the return of just a little of what she has stolen myself!

Auction Cancellation (posted 5:20)

You can now cancel your own Auctions before they have bids. We may be extending this to Auctions with bids as well, but there is likely to be a time based exclusion, i.e. you cannot cancel your Auction in the last so many hours. We welcome suggestions on what sort of period is appropriate.

Unread Mail (posted 5:40)

For those of you who have multiple accounts (multiple paid accounts that is), the Logout menu will now show you if you have unread mail waiting for you in one of your other accounts. If you do a small circle will appear beside the account name along with the number of mails outstanding. Like this.

Bug fixes (posted 5:39)

Some small updates

• Fishing limits (catches per day etc.) now don't carry from account to account, so you can fish till bored on one account then do it again on another.
• Fishing lures also don't carry (sorry), so you can't add a lure on one account then switch accounts and still have it.
• The amount of Criminal activity your Grophs get from the Dark Lane has changed, instead of increasing the record of every groph that already has one it now increases one at random.
• Most wanted owners no longer get a bigger record from the Dark Lane after a certain threshold has been reached.
