The Great Amadeus has today declaired himself ruler of Groph Land. An army of purple Grophs invaded the Town, and quicker than a striking Boo boo Bird the town fell under his power.

All hail the new ruler of Groph Land.

Amadeus's first command is that everyone should give him all their coins, potions and create contests for him to enter and WIN!

Amadeus's second command is that all should bring him lots of food, toys and entertain him.

Amadeus also commands that no one question his power, or they will be thwaped by his lazer eye beams....

Amadeus also states that today is Spelling Mistake Day, in honour of his dyslexic owner..

Random Events (posted 2:41)

So many people have complained about Grophamun and other negative (or neutral) random events recently that I have lowered the chance of random events by around 1/2. This means that you will also get a lot less of the positive events (random coins, money on the ground, happiness increases) as well.

Well i am back from my weekend at the Conpulsion RPG Convention in Edinburgh! I had a great time, but not a spare moment for Grophland. Now I am back, but my stepson will be visiting for the next week and 7 year olds are a real handful, so I don't know if I will be on much more than before! Hopefully you can bear with me.

A new random event was added today. In addition Grophs with stats over 20 may get rather different random events than before, for example smart Grophs no longer pull on the tails of snakes!

At last there are new upgrades available for your nests! These new rooms can hold up to 28 Grophs, however some of you may need to pay $5 to access them.

Yes you read it right, books are here at last! By reading books your Grophs can gain in intelligence, though beware, they have to be smart enough, and they won't read the same books twice!

Thanks to Zeno we have now added a new toy, the Green Teddy Slug! I've also added this pretty toy chest to keep your toys in.

Happy Grophs! (posted 17:02)

Grophs now have moods. They can be happy or sad. Getting beaten up, ignored, or losing games will make them less happy, playing with toys (and winning fights and contests) will make them more happy. Right now only toys do anything, expect more things to affect moods over the coming days.

A complete set of new clothing has been added today, perfect to make your Groph into a castle official. There is also a couple of new one shot weapons, as well as a brand new crystal!

Spectator Combats! (posted 9:47)

As requested by a number of people you can now watch other player's combats! You can see what's happening and who hit who, but you can't do anything (of course) or see any message that either of the players fighting said to the other, these remain private. To find these combats just go to the arena and have a look at the Spectator Combat section.
