You can now see the top ten richest players in Grophland listed in the Town Hall in Grophtown, and boy are some players richer than others! Go to Grophtown and you will see the town hall at the back of the buildings.
The desert ruins now go somewhere! This new game is now 90% in action. Look for spades in the tool shop, as well as Artefact Cases to keep your artefacts in.
There are a few new items today. A new colour of kimono, a loaf of bread, and some tasty bacon.
Grophdice now pays out a little less than it did before, since a couple of people pointed out that it was paying too much. The pair and two pair prizes have been dropped, and full house and three of a kind now pay a lot less. The payout for a straight is now 10gg less as well.
A bug which allowed you to put items on sale into your containers has been fixed now.
Thought your collections were complete? Think again! There are now two new fish and two new insects, and what's worse one of each of them can only be caught by fishing or butterfly hunting, they won't appear in the shops.
There are some new random events added today, and I have made random events slightly more common. Look out for them!
The message that tells you that you have new Grophmail now tells you how many new Grophmails you have, and what the title of the newest one is.
Just a small change to the Top Ten boards. It now shows a list of the categories available by default, instead of taking you to the top ten prettiest Grophs. I was planning to add categories for richest owners, and owners with the most items, as well.
The User listing (lookup users) has been updated today. There are some new colour codes, so you can pick out the active and inactive people more easily, and the old toolbar has been replaced with a key so you can make sense of the colours.
Also a couple of inactive users, people who have not logged on in over a month and a half, have been deleted. In general people who I think might be coming on some time will never be deleted, but people who have told me they are never coming on again will be removed.
All you Five Rings fans have been patiently waiting (okay both of you) so here are some new Kimonos and Haori! More will be coming soon, as soon as I get them drawn. Look for these in the clothing shop as usual.
Some items that appear only between certain dates were not appearing when they should have done. This has now been fixed.
Five new food items were added today, two cakes and three fruits. Find them in the food shop! At the same time I updated the item toolbar so that the feed menu now shows you how healthy the Grophs who need feeding are. This should make it easier to feed them. Also the health of each Groph is now shown on the My Grophs page as well
New navigation is here, finally you can get to other islands! Click on the picture of the world on any of the island maps (desert, mainland, jungle island) to see the world and choose the island you want to visit. The world map is also available from the newly renamed 'explore' menu, under the item 'world'. The 'main island' link will take you to the owner page (currently still the login page).
A new Island has arrived! Visit the desert to shop in Gropertitti's Bazar, the Desert jewel shop, and to challenge the evil Grophamun to the board game of Grophet.
A couple of new items have been added to these shops, and others have been moved from their old shops to here. More new items will be on their way soon, so don't worry about that. There is another new game as well, the board game Grophet, which is in the house of games as usual as well.
Pagination has now been added to the forums, so that long lists of messages and threads are split over multiple pages.
Also a few small changes and bug fixes have been made across the site, see the bug forum for details.
Its been a little while, but I have finally added some new shirts and jackets for male Grophs. There are four new garments added today, look for them in the clothing shop!
A few small fixes today. A couple of items have had their prices tinkered with. Lucky items now correctly display their luck bonus. The spelling mistake in the Lucky Star description is fixed. Shops now have a different title, without the grey bar.
Need somewhere to store the last of your clutter? Wardrobes, Fish Tanks and Food Sacks are all very well, but they don't hold lucky watches, toys and junk. Now you can buy crates in the tool shop. Crates are cheap and will hold anything you like, but they can't be put on display like the more specialist storage items.
Want the rarest of the rare? The first of a new series of items that increases your basic luck has now been placed in the tool shop. Such items are more expensive than anything else Grophland has seen so far. Remember luck controls how you do in games, how often you find things in random events, how well you do when you visit the stone circle and more!
