BRAND NEW FORUM AVATARS! (posted 4:29)

A brand new feature, available today, is the Forum Avatar. With a Forum Avatar set each of your forum posts gets an avatar image under your name. Change avatars and your new posts will have the new one!

Grophmail Changes (posted 13:47)

A couple of significant changes have been made to Grophmail today. You can now set other users as freinds, or block them from sending you mails. For more details please see the thread in General.

Commander and Derrick Retire (posted 15:03)

In a shock announcement Coatl, the owner of top Greffle racers Commander and Derrick, has announced that these Greffles are retiring! New Greffles will replace them, of course, but surely not of the same quality. Coatl refused to comment on the decision.

Grophmail Use (posted 6:24)

Recently we have had a number of cases of people misusing Grophmail and the boards. Remember, it is against the rules to send mesages begging for things, to act threatening, to send anything sexual or otherwise illegal, to send spam, scams or chain mails. Anyone doing any of these things will be warned and / or banned, possibly without warning! DON'T DO IT!

And if someone sends you a gmail you don't like, or which you think breaks the rules, tell a moderator. Keep the mail and let the moderator know the mail ID, who sent it, what the problem is, and so on. We are here to listen, and to keep people who won't obey the rules off Grophland.

The User details page was getting a bit long, so it now has a multi-pane tabbed display. Click the tabs at the top of the form to see the different sections.

I've revised the way contributed items are marked. There is now consistant text and *all* items will be displayed when you click on the 'contributer' shield on a lookup page, instead of just some of them. Also there is now a top ten contributers list! Find it in the town hall

New Groph Stats (posted 3:21)

Now, when you look at your Grophs, bottle Grophs, stats or breeding stats pages you will see a new line under the title. This like tells you how many of each type of Groph you have, how many spaces in your nest and pool are used up and how many of each type are bottled.

Users may have noticed that grophland was down for around 20 minutes. This was apparently due to a restart of the server.

Whirlpool Prize (posted 2:03)

The last whirlpool prize, Nullibrach's Spellbook, has been given out to all of those who guessed the spell correctly before the Mystery was over.

Aquaria launched! (posted 14:04)

Aquaria has been saved, the whirlpool is gone, and the delights of the underwater world are there for the taking!

There are a whole set of new shops, including the Aquarium (which holds the tanks and fish that used to be in the pet shop), Aquarian Food, Seaweed supplies, Deep Sea Pets, and Undersea weapons. There are two new games, one for two players (connect shells) and the Sea Witch, as well as an undersea hatchery. There are tons of items, and many old items have new homes.

And of course best of all, the new Aquarian Grophs (Aqua Grophs). Two examples of this completely new breed appear below. Remember, there are new hair types, new special hairs, new spots and stripe patterns, and a whole new world of colours to collect!
