Custom Avatars (posted 14:47)
As of today users can buy custom avatars for themselves. A custom avatar can be used on the boards just like a normal one. A custom avatar costs $5. Free account holders can only buy a maximum of one custom avatar, while paid account holders can buy as many as they like.

We seem to be experiencing some severe server problems right now. Grophland keeps going down all the time with no warning. Hopefully support will wake up soon an notice!

Server Problems (posted 11:36)
As you probably all noticed Grophland was down for nearly two hours today. Thanks to the quick intervention of Dreamhost technicians we were able to get the site up and running again, but I am not exactly sure why. Last I heard they were blaming a bad network card. Whatever the reason I hope to learn more soon.

Small Changes (posted 4:35)
A host of small changes have been made recently, mostly bug fixes no one will notice. Significant things include changing the text on the registration page, and adding each users blocking preferences to their lookup page, so you can see if people will accept play requests, games and so forth. Some secret new items were also added.
