From now on the default blocking settings for new accounts will be to accept Grophs and Items from friends only. That should help prevent the deluge of unwanted grophs and items that new users oftern get.
In case anyone is wondering where David has been for the past few days, he has been ill with a very bad case of food poisoning, and not in much shape to come on Grophland and do stuff. Hopefully he will be back in charge soon.

Reports of starving Kebos have been trickling out from Jungle Island. Rumour has it that a sudden increase in splat collecting has left the Kebos without enough to eat.
Chancellor of the Grophland national Bank, Mr. Neybags, today issued his first quarterly budget report for 2006. In the report he announced that, due to recent shortages of high quality bottle glass, the price of bottle factory and shelf space was expected to rise sharply. At the same time, however, he forcasted a significant increase in bottle value, which should see the extra costs well covered by bottled groph income.
