Staff stepping down (posted 7:48)

It is with great saddness that I have to annouce that two of our beloved staff have left the halls of wizards and moderators today. KatrinaZ has stepped down as a Moderator to concentrate on her upcomming University course, while long time Wizard (and original playtester) Duckiemonster has been put on official sabbatical. She will of course be welcome back if she ever comes back!

Grophland Shop on Cafepress (posted 10:49)

We'd just like to take the time to remind everyone about our shop on Cafepress. We have a variety of t-shirts, mouse mats, mugs and so forth available for you to buy there today.

Sadly the shop has not done well, in fact it has cost more to keep open than we have ever made from it. We are not closing it yet, but if it keeps on not being used then we may have to give up on it in time.

Contest Change (posted 2:27)

Some of you may have noticed that, in our ongoing attempts to make Grophland perfect, we have tinkered with the contests again. There are now more divisions between ranks at the low end, where most Grophs are, so look out for some rank 2 and 3 contests appearing.

Features Forum (posted 2:26)

Just a reminder, we are into the last week of the features theme (forest). If you want a chance at one of those 14 item spots then now is the time!

Account Reminder (posted 9:26)

Grophland Rules clearly state- Users may only have one free account. Paid users may have additional accounts, but they must all be paid. You may not have both a free account and a paid account.

Each account takes up valuable space in our database for all its items and grophs. The more space taken up the slower the whole site becomes. To cope with that we have to pay for more space and a faster server. The more unpaid accounts we have the more everyone else has to pay to cope with the demand. For this reason we restrict free accounts to one per person, while letting the people who are paying for the whole service have more.

For this week only, we are offering an Amnesty program for multiple account holders. If you report your multiple accounts to a Wizard this week, we will let you keep one of the accounts without any penalty or warning.

If anyone has 2 or more unpaid accounts, or a paid account and an unpaid account, you should gmail a Wizard with the names of all accounts. Clearly state which account you would like to keep and which should be deleted. Active Wizards at this time include David, Victoria, Tiermann, Diana, and MamaZ.

You Grophland users are the best, and make us happy to do the best job we can to keep Grophland nice and fun for all users.
