The new coin system is now 90% in place. The coin pages, fairy, brotherhood, training and random events are now working again. The new system allows you to move coins to your shop, and to other users, all at once, rather than just one at a time!

Note, the coin collectors' shop is currently still unavailable.

We are now about to change the way in which the code for coins works. Because of this various coin-related functions have now been shut down, and will slowly be re-introduced. This covers paying for training courses, using the healing fairy, visiting the golden brotherhood, getting coins from random events, getting daily coins, using the coin shop, and seeing your coins on sale.

Recently it has come to our attention that player/s are sending out grophmails asking for money/items and claiming to be staff.

An example is:-

All grophs please donate money to ******. Since everyones getting this message the staff is using ****** for an example for the website so please do so. Whoever gives the most money gets a rare valuable prize. Thank you all.

This is not only spamming, but is against the rules of grophland. ANYPLAYER doing this will be dealt with appropriately.

If you receive a mail from someone claiming to be staff, check their look up. Staff will have a moderator or wizard badge in their trophies, and if you are still not certain, please mail David or Victoria who will confirm for you. DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR PASSWORD NOR ITEMS TO ANYONE WHO ASKS NO MATTER WHO THEY ARE!

Appologies for today's downtime. The server admins changed some settings that I had changed earlier in the week causing the site to stop working.

Continuing Problems (posted 13:10)

There are continuing severe problems with the server, which keeps causing massive periods of total slowdown. The support staff at our hosting company appear to be off for Christmas, or unresponsive, so we will have to wait until they can offer some help.

Grophland is down at the moment due to server issues. It appears that a configuration change on the server may have caused the extreme slowness seen recently, but we may not be able to change it back until the tech support is back online.

We hope to be back online very soon, but the site may continue to run very slowly.

Your un-hatched eggs have now been removed from the main groph page, and have been put on an egg listing page, along with their hatching times. The displays and links at the top of the Groph page, Egg Page, Bottle Page, Stats page and Breeding stats page have now all been standardised as well.

Yes, at last there are three new pools for paid members! Of course you will need the second $5 pool upgrade to get them, but finally there are as many pool spaces as nest spaces available.

Two new items have been added to the Grophland store on Cafepress, these are nice spiral-bound journals with pictures of Grophtown and the main island on the fronts. Get them today for only $10 each, in time for Christmas!

Amadeus' Gift Shop and More (posted 12:36)

A whole slew of new items have been added today, all contributions picked by Victoria and Amadeus. Most of these items can be found in the brand new "Amadeus' Gift Shop" which has just opened in the Town Hall. Be warned, however, the shop is only open to paid members of Grophland.

The Forest Sage seems to have a new mystery tablet for people to help her solve. This one is a real challenge, she has no idea what it says.
