Hopping onto an account near you ...

Owners with more than one account can no longer enter contests they have opened in their other accounts, just as they can't enter contests made in their first account. This fixes the bug that would allow people to fill their own contests with Grophs.
Its breast cancer awareness month this month, and Grophland is joining in. Look for this Pink Ribbon in the Tool shop and put it on your display to show your support.

More importantly, any donations made to Grophland this month will be given to Cancer Research UK to support their campaign. You'll still get a donor badge to show you gave, but the money will go to them instead.
The question you've been waiting to hear asked ... the second ever Aqua special ... What would you have to do to look like this?

Also to be found in Tollia, a pair of new games

It's done, the Pirates are defeated and Groptown is saved! The ships returned in time, the Pirates have been seen off, and Grophtown can rebuild! And what's this .... we seem to have found the way to Tollia!
Meanwhile in Grophtown food stocks are running so low that many of the defenders have been reduced to eating their own armour and empty food sacks! However all is not lost. Brave Grophs have been sneaking through the siege and handing out food and healing potion to the defenders. Meanwhile the townsfolk who aren't fighting have shared out their own stocks amongst all the rest ... the King has even used a catapult to fling cakes over the walls!
It is with heavy heart that Grophlanders greeted the start of another day of siege this morning. Supplies are running low, and Grophtown's makeshift defences are showing the strain as the Pirates continue to rampage around our countryside. Food is running out, the fields are ablaze, and the harvest has been cancelled.
Meanwhile a first attempt at Parlay between Captain Qat and Amadeus ended in failure yesterday after Amadeus refused to pay the pirates to leave and Qat refused to have any hand in the rebuilding of Grophtown. With Amadeus' supporters and Captain Qat's crew looking ugly both parties withdrew. Will there be another attempt? We hope so! Surely the Pirates are realising that the defenders will never give in!
Finally rumors abound of messages being sent to the departed exploration fleet. Can they turn around in time to help?
As many players have noticed, there is a new feature on individual Groph pictures. When your Groph is busy Playing or doing certain other activities their picture is now a close-up of the upper left quadrant of the Groph image. You've all now been officially told, so no more reporting it as a bug please.

HELP HELP! Grophtown is under attack! Pirates have landed and invaded while all the King's soldiers are away at sea! The townsfolk have thrown up hasty defences but they need your help!
Five ships crammed with soldiers, explorers and brave volunteers have set out from the shores of Grophland following the mysterious map found in the wrecked ship. Hailing from all corners of Grophland they hope to bring riches beyond counting to their owners, and to Mayor Amadeus.
Have a look at the Grophs at Sea page to see a list of the brave voyagers.
And so it is agreed! Two warships full of the Kings finest guards and 40 brave volunteer grophs will be setting out soon, along with Dr Mux, and at least one merchant ship may follow after with yet more sailors aboard! This will be a grand adventure indeed!
His Worshipfulness the Mayor Amadeus is pleased to announce a Town Meeting, to be conducted in the General forum, to discuss the matter of this interesting map. The town hall will open in 30 minutes, at 11am Grophland Mean Time. Amadeus will be waiting.
Brave Grophs who explored the shipwreck yesterday recovered an interesting map, which appears to show a previously unknown chain of islands to the south west of the Mainland, about a week away by ship. Taking these findings to the Mayor they have initiated a fierce discussion about what to do in response. As a result his Most Worshipful Mayor Amadeus has declared a town meeting for Friday evening (Groph time) to discuss the matter.
The great storm has blown itself out overnight, thank the Groph Gods, but there seems to have been a casualty of the storm ... a ship stuck on the rocks off the Grophland beach!
There is a terrible storm brewing up over Grophland today, sweeping in from the southern seas. All boats have been berthed in safe harbors and wise Grophs are keeping to their homes.
