Small Changes (posted 9:31)

Some small changes were made to the Combat today. More images for successful blows were added, as was one for missing. The base damage bonus from Strength was also changed, it is now 1/5th Strength instead of 1/10th.

All of the various non-combat scripts that can do damage (games and events) were also updated today so that they no longer heal armoured grophs.

Finally a couple of new grophlopedia articles were added today, on Fairies and the Healing Fairy

Challenge Icon (posted 3:45)

Click on the following icon on a user's lookup page to challenge one of their Grophs to a fight. This is the same as entering their name on the arena challenge form.

The Healing Fairy now lets you pick which of your grophs you want to heal, but she only heals 50 hits at a time, not all of them

At last the Groph vs., Groph combat system is in place! You can go and have fights between Grophs, use that armour, work those weapons, smite your foes! However the system is still somewhat in testing. To learn more please look at the Feature's Forum and read the thread there. To try the combats go to the combat arena in the home menu.

The Grophlopedia (posted 11:39)

Announcing the launch of the Grophlopedia, Grophland's premier source of infored opinion and fact. The Grophlopedia contains many articles describing the famous places and people of Grophland. It also lists every item available on Grophland, detailing its stats, description, price and rarity. In addition, for clothing and armour, the Grophlopedia will show you how the items look when worn by a typical Groph.

The Grophlopedia is available from the Grophnet menu. In addition on any page with a Grophlopedia entry you will see a blue bar under the main meny, linking to the relevant article.

MASSIVE LUCK CONTEST! (posted 3:37)

Roll up Roll up to the contest arena! I am now running a huge random contest to see who can win a Lucky Clover Leaf. The Clover leaf is the rarest and most expensive item on Grophland to date, and gives you +5 Luck! The contest entry price is steep, but it all goes to prizes, so even if you don't win the Clover leaf you could still get yourself a fair amount of money.

More Contest Changes (posted 3:35)

You can now edit and delete your own contests provided that no one has entered them yet. In addition you can delete your old contests that had no entries.

New Contest Type (posted 16:44)

A new type of contest was added today, random. In a random contest all the Grophs have an equal chance of winning, their stats are totally ignored. This kind of contest is perfect if you want to give away a Groph or an Item as a prize. In a random contest each entrant gets a 0.1 bonus to one of their stats at random

There is now a link to the two player games on the 'My' menu. This will show you all of the two player games that you are currently in, as well as allowing you to read game rules and issue challenges.

If you look at the bottom of the lookup users page you will see a link to active users. This page shows you anyone who has done anything in the last 30 minutes.
