Embarrassingly the next and previous buttons on the forums turn out never to have worked correctly. Both always went to the next post! Even more embarrassingly no one ever noticed, or they did but never reported the bug. Either way it is now fixed.

Yes, another April the 1st has come and gone and we can reveal that the whole Groph-pox epidemic was a joke. Over 3 weeks Grophs got purple spots, today they turned into Amadeus clones! (Though not until the brave Mayor got Zombified trying to save everyone).

The Mayor has opened his house for all grophs, inviting them round for dinner. Apparently they are to bring their own brains.

The Mayor was last seen chasing Dr Mux out of the lab and heading towards the sea.

It seems that Mayor Amadeus' bravery was all for nothing! The cure failed. Amadeus has been transformed into a Zombie, and the first reports are coming in of dying Grophs! Is there no hope!

Dr Mux and Amadeus are working towards a cure for the evil pox which is inflicting Grophs all over the island. Rumors abound that the Shark Grophs hold the cure (they are the only ones not effected), or that some evil long forgotten has risen again to seek revenge on those who imprisoned it.

Who knows what the answer is, but a cure is being worked on.

Grophpox, that's what people are starting to call it. What is this mystery illness sweeping over Grophland? No one seems certain right now, but Mayor Amadeus announced today that his best people (i.e. Dr Mux) are looking into it with urgency.

Alchemy and Cooking updates (posted 6:10)

The way in which we record the cooking and alchemy you do has been updated. Now recipes will go on your list no matter where you made them, and if you lose your notebook you won't lose the record of your recipes! It gets better ... there are two new items to show your recipes, the Alchemical Recipe book just shows recipes (not clues) but is cheaper that the notebook, while the Cooking recipe book shows not only your cooking recipes but also what you make with your Chocolate Brush, Mortar and Potion Concentrators as well!

What's more the Choclate Brush, Mortar, Potion Concentrator, and Froggle Chef now all show the sorts of items you have made with them before.
