No link in these two items other than that they both begin with C. The Contests screen has had an overhaul. Contests now show how many Grophs you already have entered, and they also show how many of your Grophs might be eligible. Contests you can place Grophs in are colored green. On the container side there is now a remove menu to quickly remove items, and the add and add all items will not show when there is nothing to add.

Those of you with up to date web browsers (Firefox, Safari, IE7 and the like) should notice a big change (or a number of big changes) to your Inventories today. Specifically ...

• You can now re-order your containers simply by dragging them into a new position
• You can now move items to containers by dragging and dropping them
• You can now move items to your storage chest simply by dragging and dropping them

All of the old ways of doing these things (changing order numbers, adding items from inside containers) still work of course, so if your browser doesn't support the new interface, don't worry.

Easier Signup (posted 7:13)

As of today it will now be easier than ever to sign up and start playing Grophland! Rather than waiting for a password to be emailed to you after you register (with all the delays that can incur) you can now pick your own password and start playing right away! You will still be sent a confirmation code by email, and you'll need to enter that the second time you log in, but you can play as soon as you have signed up.

Yes you can now subscribe to forum threads! Click the subscribe button at the top of a thread to add it to your subscribed threads, and check the link on the Grophnet menu to follow your subscribed threads. No gmail notifications yet but it may come.

Combat Updates (posted 12:04)

The combat system has had a bit more of a face-lift. Damage and healing figures now work properly in 2 player combat (not just 1 player), the display of the combatants has been made a little slicker, and the weapons and history section have been made separately scrollable so that the screen is a little easier to handle.

Groph Groups (posted 2:26)

You can now organize the Grophs on your account into Groups, and view them by group on your Groph listing, Groph stats and the like. To put your Groph in a group enter the name of the group (which can be anything you like) in the box next to the Order button on the Groph's page or on your Groph stat listing and press the button to update it. Groups will appear along the top of all Groph listing pages.

Clearing the Bubble Pyramid on hard mode now rewards you with this. Expect to see it on horsedancer1234's lookup soon!

Alchemical Recipes (posted 7:21)

Items that can be made with Alchemy (at the wizard, or with a scribe or chef) now say so in the Grophlopedia, as well as noting what level of alchemy (or some other) skill you need to make them. Recipes that have not yet been solved by anyone do not, of course, say anything.
