Waverly used to live alone in Mote Cave before Azulon, Shelly and Marlena found the place and moved in with their clans. He used hang out with the wild Grophs and he doesn't seem to have any family ties or friends. The others don't really know what to make out of him. He doesn't seem to mind their company though.

When Azulon took his stake of the underworld he hired Waverly as a strong arm Groph.
